Gdynia,
the northern-most city of Tri-city, comprising
the urban areas of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdansk. Gdynia,Poland’s
official port, is situated in the district of Pomerania, in the
north of Poland, on the Baltic Sea, some 500 kms north of the capital
city, Warsaw. Through this modern port, all of Poland’s substantial
maritime trade is conducted.

The commercial Seaport and the adjoining Naval
base, Shipyards and Maritime Museums are complemented by a fabulous
Yacht marina, which attracts thousands of visitors annually to this
exciting city of 250,000 inhabitants. Aside from international trade,
logistics and tourism, Gdynia has a thriving IT sector, employing
many thousands of workers. Sopot, 4km south, is the most popular
beach resort in Poland and Gdansk, 5kms further, is a major industrial,
educational and service employment centre. .
